The sun and moon give us light to live, they’ve kept time from millenia past, they add meaning to our days and nights, and when they align together just right they draw a line of darkness across the earth.

Within this darkness, the scientific stand in awe with their eyes open and their hearts blind to the truth. The superstitious panic and prepare for war, famine or pestilence not discerning the coming judgment.

But the living God, the creator of heaven and earth and all that is therein, commands his people to fear and worship him alone. For solar and lunar eclipses are signs of his righteous judgment come to earth.

“Drop down, you heavens, from above,

And let the skies pour down righteousness…” – Isaiah 45:8
